Why I feel Transexuals should be removed from the LBGT movement (by tssexychanel)

First off, I immediately recognized her as a spiritually intuitive being the moment she began speaking. She grabbed my attention right away.

Next, she clearly explains why she feels the way she does, as well as the differences between her and homosexual men. I think she navigated her points well and made a lot of sense, and I wholeheartedly agree with her. I have also had similar experiences within the LGBT as well as outside of it.

The more I think of it, the less I feel the T should be placed with the LGB. As she said, they are two entirely different matters. One is a issue of who one sleeps with, while the other is who a person is. The two may intersect when a person may be gender variant or non-conforming and queer, but that just places them along the transgender spectrum, as transgender is a very broad term. But me being trans do not automatically place me in with the queer community. Actually being queer and pansexual does.

It especially irritates me that the state of most LGBT organizations today often exclude the T, disrespect the T or are lack some of the most basic information and understanding. My opinion has not changed, this has only further rooted my belief in the political separation of the T from LGB.

Because everything that’s in your head don’t need to come out your mouth…
